Red Cap Scaber Stock Boletus (sliced & dried) - These Boletus were foraged for in Northern Canada in the meadows of Caribou moss and Lichen.
These Boletus have a similar full flavor as the well know earthly goodness of the Porcini. They have a faintly reminiscent aroma of toasted French bread. They are often cooked with braised meats, stews and in the juices of roasting meats. They go very well with Lamb, Beef, Elk, Bison, Moose, Caribou, Mountain sheep and more…
Traditionally red cap boletus are used to clean the blood, boost immunity and control cholesterol.
